CCL 4: Karnataka Bulldozers Beat Bengal Tigers

Karnataka Bulldozers representing Kannada film industry in the fourth edition of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL 4) has defeated Bengal Tigers by 115 runs. The team headed by Kiccha Sudeep scored 230 runs from 20 overs by losing 3 wickets.

Bengal Tigers chased the target in the second innings and were able to score 115 in 20 overs, by losing 9 wickets. Actor Rajeev, who scored 86 runs for Karnataka Bulldozers was awarded 'Man of the Match' in the fourth match of CCL 4.

Initially, Bengal Tigers headed by actor Jisshu won the toss and elected to field. Actor Pradeep scored 73 runs from 47 balls and Rajeev scored 87 from 37 balls. The duo played the third wicket partnership for Karnataka Bulldozers and scored 50 runs in 21 balls.

Though Karnataka Bulldozers had an initial shock as they lost Darshan's wicket, the partnership of opener Pradeep and Rahul gave a big relief by scoring 50 runs in 26 balls. However, Champions of CCL 3 - Karnataka Bulldozers is all set to take on Chennai Rhinos representing Tamil film industry in the second match on February 2 at 7 pm in the 8th match of CCL 4, which is scheduled to take place in Chennai.
