After CCL 4, Kiccha Sudeep Gears Up For SCL

After becoming the second time champions of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), Kannada film industry is all set to see another cricket tournament shortly. This time it will not be just for the Kannada stars, but the tournament will also include the directors, technicians, film journalists and other film unit people. As the cricket tournament is only for the people of Kannada film industry, the tournament is named as Sandalwood Cricket League (SCL).

Sources said that captain of Karnataka Bulldozers Kiccha Sudeep wishes to play cricket with all the people of film unit, irrespective of the work they do. As it was not possible for him to include everyone in Karnataka Bulldozers team for CCL, Sudeep has geared up to organise a special tournament only for Kannada film people.

However, sources were tight lipped about the 'Dr Raj Cup' cricket tournament, which was held every year. Kannada film directors, cinematographers, technicians, stunt choreographers, Karnataka Bulldozers team, TV serial artists, film journalists are the teams, which are likely to be part of SCL.

SCL is likely to be held in the month of May 2014. Sudeep is likely to start practice for SCL in April as he is currently busy wrapping up Maanikya for Ugadi release.
