Deepika Padukone To Make Her Comeback With Upendra's Uppi 2!
Superstar and Real Star Upendra's upcoming project Uppi 2 is making a huge buzz even before it starts its shooting. The movie to be directed by Sandalwood's maverick filmmaker Uppi is yet to finalise the female lead, which has become a tough task for the makers. Earlier it was said that the Bollywood beauty Vidya Balan has been roped in to play the female lead, but later Uppi himself cleared the speculations by saying that he has not approached Vidya. Latest buzz in the process of finalising the female lead for Uppi 2 is that the people close to Upendra has approached another Bollywood beauty for the female lead, who is not a new face to Kannada film and Karnataka. Yes its none other than Bangalore Girl Deepika Padukone, who made her acting debut with Kannada movie Aishwarya opposite Uppi in 2006. The actress is also still famous as Sandalwood's Aishwarya in Karnataka. She is presently the busy actress in Hindi by delivering record number of hits opposite the Superstars like Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and others. If sources from Gandhinagara are to be believed then Uppi 2 will be a comeback movie for Deepika Padukone, who is also awaiting to do a Kannada movie from many years.
