Sandalwood's recent release Ugramm has joined the list of hit Kannada movies, which are all set to get remake in other languages. The movie, which was released on February 21, received rave reviews from the critics and audience for its excellent presentation.
It is reported that the movie, which stars Srimurali and Haripriya in lead roles, has caught the attention of other language movie makers and there is a huge demand for the remake rights across South India. If sources are to be believed then the Tamil version of Ugramm will see Kollywood's superstar Dhanush in the lead role.
Sources from Tamil film industry has said that Dhanush was impressed with the Ugramm trailer, and has expressed his desire to remake the movie in Tamil. As he recently made his Bollywood debut with bilingual movie Raanjhanaa, and has a huge fan followers, the actor has also decided to simultaneously work in Tamil and Hindi versions of Ugramm.

No Necessity Of Making Changes
As Ugramm suits all nativity, there is no necessity of making immense changes in the script of Tamil and Hindi versions.
The movie will be simultaneously made in Tamil and Hindi, which is likely to go on floors in April 2014.
The makers have revealed that the remaining cast of the movie will be finalised shortly. It is reported that presently they are in search of new face for the female lead.

It is reported that the other language movie makers were impressed with the biggest opening that Ugramm got in Karnataka.
Dhanush To Act In Second Remake Of Kannada Movie
Tamil version of Kannada movie Ugramm will be the second Kannada remake movie for National Award actor Dhanush.
Dhanush In Jogi Remake
Earlier, Dhanush had acted in the Tamil movie Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram, which was the remake of Kannada Blockbuster Jogi starring Shivaraj Kumar.
