A successful movie has a set recipe. Somewhere in this recipe comes the important role of a child artist. Child artists have played very important roles at times. There have been movies where the child artists provide comical relief to the viewers with their cute antics
But the scope of child artists is not just restricted to comic roles. Many child artists have played gut wrenching roles, which has managed to move our heart. It isn't a coincidence that there is a separate category in the National Awards to recognize the contribution of a child artists in entertainment industry.

He has portrayed his abilities to become a good actor since his childhood. Today he is one of the biggest superstars in the Kannada film industry.
Vijay Raghavendra
Nephew of the late thespian Dr Rajkumar, he also got into acting at a very young age. The young Vijay Raghavendra manged to garner much accolades for his acting. He too, won the national award for best child artist in 1994 for the movie Kotreshi Kanasu. He has managed to deliver few hits as a lead actor.
Amoolya
Although she caught the limelight after the blockbuster hit movie Cheluvina Chittara, the actress has earlier entered the film industry as a child artist. Her most famous role as a child artist was that of Sudeep's younger sister in the super hit movie Chandu. Today she is counted among the top actress in the industry.
Arjun Sarja
Before he became the Action King, Arjun Sarja used to be a child artist. His movie Simahada Mari Sainya became a classic movie for kids. After making such amazing movie, the actor went on to make many more super hit movies in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. The actor has made a name for himself in the action genre in the film industry.
Master Kishan Srikanth
