Exclusive: Ganesh-Amoolya In Kushi Kushiyali (Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde Remake)

It's a known fact that Golden Star Ganesh and Golden Queen Amoolya have teamed up for Sandalwood's forthcoming movie, which is the Kannada remake of Telugu hit Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde. The makers, who have already started the shooting, has now titled the flick as Kushi Kushiyali.

Preetham Gubbi's associate director Yogi is making his directorial debut with the movie. He is all set to create the magic of Cheluvina Chitaara and Shravani Subramanya with Kushi Kushiyali, by roping in the successful pair - Ganesh and Amoolya for the lead roles.

The shooting of Kushi Kushiyali has been started from Monday (April 7). The movie, which went on floor with its working title 'Production No 2', has now been renamed as Kushi Kushiyali. Saavira Janmaku, Crazy Boy, Shokilala are few titles for the remake movie, which were making rounds in Gandhinagara.

The original movie Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde had Nithin and Nithya Menon in the lead roles. Ganesh will be stepping into Nitin's shoes and Amoolya will be essaying Nithya Menon's role in Kannada movie, Kushi Kushiyali.

Earlier, director Yogi had approached Power Star Puneet Rajkumar for the lead role. But the actor's dates were unavailable for few months as he is busy with the shooting of Power***, Kannada remake of Telugu hit Dookudu.
