HD Kumaraswamy Fails To Mention Radhika's Assets; Lands In Trouble

Producer turned politician and Janata Dala Secular (JDS) Chief HD Kumaraswamy is presently contesting from Chikkaballapura constituency for upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Kumaraswamy, who has submitted the affidavit of assets and liabilities of his family members before Election Commission (EC), has reportedly failed to mention the value of properties in the name of his second wife actress Radhika Kumaraswamy.

Dhananjay, the president of Karnataka Pradesha Congress Committee's (KPCC) Legal Cell, has revealed that JDS leader Kumaraswamy has submitted the false details to EC. Dhananjay, who was addressing the press conference on Wednesday, has alleged that Kumaraswamy has only submitted the assets and liabilities in the name of his first wife Anitha Kumaraswamy, and purposely failed to reveal the value of properties, which he has made in the name of his second wife Radhika Kumaraswamy. "Though Radhika has cleared that she is the wife of politician HD Kumaraswamy, the JDS chief has not mentioned the assets and liabilities, which he has earned in her name. Kumaranna has purposely failed to mention the details," says Dhananjay, who has also urged the EC to investigate the case and take necessary action against HD Kumaraswamy before the election. He also demanded Election Commission to conduct the probe voluntarily and take necessary actions.

Dhananjay said, "We have also lodged the official complaint against Kumaraswamy to Election Commission."

The opposition parties have also urged to conduct a probe against Kumaraswamy and take necessary actions.

Will Intimate The Case To Central EC Too

They also added that they are intimating this case to Central Election Commission too, so that there is no chance of Kumaraswamy escaping from the probe.

Karnataka's Chief Election Officer, Anil Kumar Jha has cleared that it is not possible for them to conduct probe at this point of time.
