By Ians English

Director Om Sai Prakash says his upcoming bilingual movie Janmasthanam, which is simultaneously made in Kannada and Telugu, is about the problems women are facing today in the society and the film will appeal to women audiences in particular as he feels they will easily connect with the story.

Talking to IANS, Om Sai Prakash said, "I want to make audiences, especially women, introspect through this film. It's a social drama about different problems faced by women told from the perspective of men. Sai Kumar is playing a very important role and he's going appeal to audiences with his performance."

Janmasthanam is currently in the post-production stage and will hit the screens soon. The Sandalwood director added, "Since Sai Kumar is a popular face in Kannada, we decided to make it as a bilingual. We are currently in post-production and are planning to release soon."

Janmasthanam marks the comeback of Om Sai Prakash a year after the release of his last directorial venture Garbhada Gudi starring Ramesh Bhat, Anu Prabhakar and Padmaja Rao in the leads. Produced by K Rayanna, the film also features Krishna Chandra, Shama Singh, Ranganath and Tanikella Bharani in important roles. The movie is expected to hit the screens in July or August.
