Indian cricket team players making their appearance in movies is an old trend in Bollywood. Now, this phenomena has started in Kannada as the two former International cricket players are all set to make their film debut.
After Ajay Jadeja and Salil Ankola, now it's the turn of another two former skippers, who created tension in the opponent batsmen with their bowling pace, to make their on-screen appearance. Yes, it's none other than Mysore Express Javagal Srinath and Venkatesh Prasad.
The duo is all set to do a cameo role in Sandalwood's forthcoming movie Sachin. The movie has the tagline that reads 'Tendulkar Alla (not Tendulkar)'. It is the comeback movie for the actor-director-producer-writer Mohan, who was famous in Sandalwood with few of his comedy movies.
Sachin deals with the story of a boy who is passionate about cricket, and Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is his role model. Javagal Srinath and Venkatesh Prasad will play themselves in the film, which has started its shooting from last Monday, February 10. Rajesh Ramnath has composed the music for the movie, which is produced by BN Gangadhar. It is reported that apart from Srinath and Venkatesh Prasad, multilingual actress Suhasini will also be doing the cameo role.
