Rajeev, JK, Dhruv In Chennai 600028 Remake!

Seems like Kannada filmmaker Pradeep Raj is impressed with the spectacular performance of our Karnataka Bulldozers in the fourth edition of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL 4). The director, who is known for his remake films in Kannada, has now roped in the top players of Karnataka Bulldozers to play the lead role in his directorial venture.

Pradeep Raj, who is directing the Kannada remake of Tamil hit Chennai 600028, has zeroed Karnataka Bulldozers vice-captain JK aka Karthik Jayaram, all rounders - Rajeev and Dhruv Sharma to play the important role in the film. The untitled film, which is likely to be launched soon is set in the backdrop of cricket.

Chennai 600028 was the sports comedy movie, which had Jai, Shiva, Premji Amaren, Nitin Sathya, Arvind Akash and Sampath Raj in the lead cast. The plot revolves around two local cricket league teams that compete against each other in local matches and consider each other as sworn enemies. Royapuram Rockers are on top of the chain and keep bashing Sharks year after year. The heroes of the movie are the Sharks team. It was released in 2007, and a directorial venture of Venkat Prabhu.

Apart from Rajeev, JK and Dhruv, the Kannada version of Chennai 600028 will features Sanjjanaa, Shivani, Sadhu Kokila, Chikanna and others in the lead roles.
