Today marked the 41st birthday of Sandalwood superstar Kichcha Sudeep. Fans from all over the state and beyond have sent their wishes to the actor. The actor is currently busy playing for Karnataka Premier League and hosting the Bigg Boss Kannada season 2.
Sudeep came to his residence in J.P. Nagar, Bangalore after playing the match in Mysore. There was a huge crowd outside the actor's residence. The city police made the necessary arrangements for controlling crowd and managing the traffic around the area.
A huge cake was ordered by the Fans Association and the actor cut the cake and greeted all his fans and well wishers. Talking to a leading news paper, Sudeep covered various issues regarding his career and life choices.

Sudeep talks on eve of this birthday
Talking to the leading daily, he said that his passion to do films and play cricket is what keeps him going till this day. He admitted that sometimes he does get less sleep, but that does not stop him from doing what he does.
Participating in KPL
Speaking on the issue of participating in KPL, Sudeep said that he isn't expecting to win the tournament. His objective is to bring in more viewers to watch the KPL matches, which may in turn help Karnataka cricket to grow.
Making remakes in Kannada
Sudeep defended his decision to make remake movies. He said that many artistes in the industry depend on movies to earn their daily income. If his experimental movie fails, those people will not be able to sustain himself.
Remake movies have changes in storyline
Sudeep also added that while making remakes, he puts in his own effort and also tries to change the story line a bit, like what he did in Maanikya. He claims that remake movie doesn't necessarily have to curb innovation and independent thinking.
