Lakshmi Rai To Play Model In Shrungara

South lass Lakshmi Rai, who has started the shooting of Kannada movie Shrungara opposite Crazy Star Ravichandran will be seen as a model in the movie. The actress, who was last seen in a small role in Veerappan Attahasa is making her comeback to Kannada film industry nearly after a year.

Shrungara, which also features Galm Doll Ragini Dwivedi will be directed by V Nagendra Prasad. Lakshmi is said to be playing the role of a model, who aims to become an actress in her future. On the other hand Ravichandran will be seen as a fashion designer in the film, which is the first combination of him with director V Nagendra Prasad. Lakshmi Rai, who refused to reveal about her role in Shrungara said that she will be playing a very strong character. "It is a beautiful family entertainer and I play a very strong character, with the narrative revolving around me. I've been looking for a good script and this particular one convinced me that it's the one to pick," says Bangalore girl, who has become a busy bee in South Indian film industry from past few years.
