Abhinaya Chakravarthy Kiccha Sudeep's directorial venture Maanikya, which got released all over state, yesterday, May 1 2014 is reportedly looting the Box Office. The multi star film, which was released in more than 200 screens is running packed houses in all the cine halls.
Maanikya, the first combination of Crazy Star Ravichandran
and Kiccha Sudeep has done a wonderful business at Box Office on
its first day. The film has also broken all the previous records of
Kiccha Sudeep's movie.
If sources from regional portal Chitraloka are to be believed,
then Maanikya, which is the biggest treat for long weekend
in Karnataka has approximately grossed Rs 3 crore on first day at
Box Office collections. Though it was well known that the movie is
the remake of Telugu hit Mirchi, high expectations were lying on
the movie as it was the first combination of two big stars of
Sandalwood - Sudeep and Ravichandran. As the movie was released on
Labourers Day (May Day), May 1st, there was a large number of

the budget of Rs 18 crore.
