Navya
Nair
had
taken
a
break
from
movies
to
enjoy
motherhood.
She
had
given
birth
to
a
baby
boy
in
2010
and
had
managed
to
do
one
Malayalam
movie
Scene
Onnu
Nammude
Veedu
in
2012
amid
being
busy
with
her
family
affairs.
Now,
he
is
returning
with
Kannada
movie
Drishya,
a
remake
of
Malayalam
hit
movie
Drishyam.
The
Mallu
babe
has
admitted
that
the
marriage
and
motherhood
had
kept
her
away
from
movies.
Navya
Nair
was
not
keen
on
returning
at
this
stage
but
she
could
not
reject
the
Drishya
offer
made
by
director
P
Vasu.
"Ever
since
I
got
married,
my
acting
career
has
taken
a
backseat.
I
have
been
busy
with
my
three-year
old
kid
and
life
has
been
wonderful.
I
had
no
intention
of
returning
to
films
but
when
I
was
offered
Drishya,
I
felt
it
was
a
good
project
to
be
associated
with," Navya
told
IANS.
Interestingly,
when
top
actresses
refuse
to
play
the
mother
roles,
Navya
Nair
had
no
qualms
in
accepting
the
role.
"Even
my
director
felt
I
was
too
young
to
play
the
mother,
but
I
didn't
have
any
problem
because
the
story
demanded
it.
I
quite
enjoyed
playing
the
role
and
was
not
apprehensive
about
how
audiences
will
react
to
it," she
added.
Drishya
stars
Ravichandran
in
the
lead
role
and
it
will
release
this
Friday
(June
20).
