piracy,
and
also
it
has
become
successful
to
an
extent.
But
the
incidence,
which
took
place
in
Nartaki
theatre
on
Friday
shows
that
the
piracy
monster
is
still
alive.
On
Friday,
January
17,
2014,
Upparpete
Police
has
arrested
a
person
named
Manoj
Kumar,
who
was
involved
in
the
piracy
of
Sandalwood's
recent
release
Ninnindale.
The
movie,
which
was
released
on
Thursday
(January
16),
stars
Puneet
Rajkumar
and
Erica
Fernandes
in
leads.
It
is
reported
that
Manoj
Kumar
was
recording
Ninnindale
movie
in
the
handy
cam
at
Nartaki
theatre.
When
he
was
trying
to
copy
the
footage
to
a
CD
at
a
local
cyber-cafe,
Upparpete
Police
caught
him
red
handed.
The
cops
were
alerted
by
the
theatre
owner
and
Ninnindale
producer
Vijay
Kumar.
It
is
also
reported
that
Manoj
Kumar,
who
is
based
out
of
Bijapur
town,
has
been
caught
in
several
piracy
cases
before.
He
used
to
capture
all
newly
released
Kannada
movies
in
his
handy-cam
and
use
to
sell
the
print
for
lower
price.
The
legal
case
has
been
booked
against
the
culprit,
based
on
the
complaint
filed
by
theatre
owner
and
Ninnindale
producer.
Upparpete
police
have
revealed
that
further
action
will
be
taken
soon.
