Pooja Gandhi Shoots For Abhinetri's Item Song

Actress turned politician Pooja Gandhi, who is all set to make her comeback on Kannada screen with Sandalwood's forthcoming movie Abhinetri, has recently wrapped up the shoot of an item number. The actress was seen showing her dance moves for the track 'Naa nimma rambhe,' which is crooned by Shreya Goshal. (Photos: Pooja Gandhi-Atul Kulkarni's Erotic Scenes).

Director Sathish Pradhan was canning the item song in the set, which was exclusively built to give the classic age touch for the item number. Apart from Pooja Gandhi, Abhinetri also has Atul Kulkarni, Markrand Deshpande and others in the key roles.

"This was a good challenge for me as I got to revisit an era in the Indian film industry that I adore. Right from the sets to the steps, we have taken nuances from the films of that era. I have used references from my father's and uncle's films of that time, in which they've choreographed numbers. My favourites from that era are Kalpana and Dr Rajkumar," says Chinni Prakash, who is choreographing the dance for the movie.

Director Satish Pradhan said, "While this is one of the first numbers in the film, it took a long time for us to finalise the set and props, because none of the auditoriums or wedding halls have that charm of the yesteryear. We finally chanced upon this place in Malleswaram."
