Puneet
Rajkumar's
upcoming
movie
Power***
seems
to
be
in
trouble.
The
movie
had
trouble
getting
censor
clearance
when
the
regional
and
the
Mumbai
censor
board
were
incapacitated.
However,
with
the
appointment
of
temporary
members
in
the
regional
board,
the
movie
was
given
the
censor
clearance
with
a
U/A
certificate.
However,
the
movie
has
found
itself
in
a
bigger
mess.
The
movie
had
been
dragged
to
the
City
Civil
Court
on
Thursday.
The
case
was
filed
by
Actor/Producer
Surya.
He
says
that
the
title
'Power'
has
been
registered
by
him
with
the
KFCC.
The
court
has
stayed
the
release
of
the
movie.
The
producer
had
protested
when
Puneet
Rajkumar's
movie
was
titled
as
'Power'.
Subsequently
the
movie
title
was
changed
to
Power***
after
the
addition
of
three
stars
to
the
name.
However
,this
did
not
satisfy
the
producer.
He
requested
the
KFCC
to
direct
the
producer
to
change
the
name
completely.
However,
he
claims
that
KFCC
did
not
respond
to
his
requests.
This
is
isn't
the
first
time
such
title
row
has
emerged.
We
have
previously
reported
that
there
is
growing
feeling
among
the
people
in
the
Kannada
film
industry
that
KFCC
has
given
more
favor
to
the
established
film
makers
and
the
new
film
makers
facing
the
brunt
of
this
behaviour.
With
the
case
now
filed
in
civil
court,
the
movie's
release
may
be
delayed
again.
While
the
movie
was
supposed
to
be
released
on
August
28th,
one
has
to
wait
and
see
for
the
court's
ruling.
