Prakash Raj To Lock Horns With Darshan In Airavata

Multilingual actor Prakash Raj, who is basking in the success of his recent offering Oggarane, has bagged another offer in Kannada. The all-round movie maker, who is also considered as the best actor to essay negative roles in Indian movies will now be seen opposite Challenging Star Darshan in Sandalwood's forthcoming movie Airavata. After many years, Prakash Raj will be seen in negative shade on Kannada screen with Airavata, which is touted to be an out and out action entertainer. Darshan, who plays cop in the film is paired opposite Mumbai lass Erica Fernandes. The film directed by AP Arjun of Ambari and Adhoori fame is likely to go on-floors in August 2014. Erica, who made her Kannada debut with Power Star Puneet Rajkumar's Ninnindale will be playing love interest to the Challenging Star in the movie.

Airavata will be produced by Sandesh Nagaraj under his home banner 'Sandesh Enterprises'. The other lead cast of the movie is likely to be revealed shortly by the director, who has come up with an unique script for Challenging Star. The actor, who had agreed to play the lead role without even a second thought is all set to recreate the magic of Ayya and Swamy by donning Khaki.
