Tamil movie Nimirndhu Nil, which was released last week (March 8) is all set to get remake in other languages. Though the movie received mixed reviews from the audience and critics, director Samuthirakani is planning to remake the movie in Kannada and Hindi.
The news has been confirmed by director Samuthirakani himself, who revealed it in his TV interview with regional entertainment channel. When the director was asked, who would play lead role in Kannada version of Nimirndhu Nil, his immediate response answer was none other our Power Star Puneet Rajkumar.
The duo had earlier worked in 2012's Yaare Koogadali, which was the remake of Tamil movie Poraali. Director also said that by seeing the Tamil movie, Puneet Rajkumar has shown interest in the remake. (Puneet Rajkumar To Don Khaki In Ranavikrama).
On the other hand, director has also revealed that he is planning to do the remake in Hindi too for which he will be approaching Bollywood's Mr Perfect Aamir Khana and Ranveer Singh for the same. Tamil movie Nimirndhu Nil featured Jayam Ravi, Amala Paul, Sarath Kumar, Parota Soori, Nassar and others in the significant roles. It was also simultaneously made in Telugu with Janda Pai Kapiraju with Nani in the lead role. Bangalore lass Ragini Dwivedi made her Tamil debut with the movie.
