Golden Queen Amoolya, who was all set to play the female lead of Sandalwood's ace director Yogaraj Bhat's comeback movie Vaastuprakara, has been replaced by Dimple Queen Rachita Ram. The latest buzz from Gandhinagara has confirmed the news of Rachita playing the female lead in the movie, which features Rakshith Shetty and Jaggesh in significant roles.
Director Yogaraj Bhat, who recently caught the attention of the cine-goers with the video of the title track is likely to start the shooting for Vaastuprakara in May 2014. Beside directing the film, Yogaraj Bhat is also producing the flick under his home banner 'Yogaraj Films'.
"I am very happy to work with Yogaraj Bhat. I was not able to deny the offer when Bhat approached me. The shooting is scheduled to take place in May, by the time I will wrap up Ambareesha with Challenging Star Darshan. I will be managing the dates with Puneet Rajkumar's Ranavikrama and Vaastuprakara," says the Dimple Queen Rachita, who is basking in the success of Bulbul and Dil Rangeela.
However clearing the speculations behind replacing Amoolya with Rachita, director Yogaraj Bhat said, "Amoolya will become busy with the shooting of Male in May. As she has booked her dates in May, we roped in Rachita Ram. Amoolya will be the female lead in my next project."
