started

shooting
for
the
film.
The
muhurtha
of
the
film,
which
is
the
remake
of
Tamil
hit
Paandiya
Nadu,
was
recently
held
in
Bangalore.
The
original
Tamil
movie
had
Action
Star
Vishal
Krishna
and
Lakshmi
Menon
the
lead
roles.
While
Chiru
will
be
enacting
the
role
played
by
Vishal
in
the
original,
Radhika
Kumaraswamy
will
be
stepping
into
the
shoes
of
Lakshmi
Menon
in
the
Kannada
version.
Rudratandava,
which
is
the
first
combination
of
Chiru
and
Radhika
will
be
directed
by
Guru
Deshpande,
who
is
basking
in
the
success
of
Raja
Huli.
Addressing
the
media
people
in
the
press
meet,
Radhika
Kumarswamy
said,
"This
is
not
the
first
time
that
Chiranjeevi
and
I
were
approached
for
a
film.
We
were
supposed
to
do
a
film
together
some
time
ago,
around
last
year.
But,
due
to
unforeseen
circumstances,
that
particular
project
didn't
take
off.
But,
I'm
glad
that
I
get
to
pair
with
him
now,
in
the
first
film
I've
signed
outside
my
home
production."
