Handsome Hunk Chiranjeevi Sarja and Sandalwood's dream girl Radhika Kumaraswamy, who have been paired opposite for the first time in Sandalwood's forthcoming movie Rudratandava, has started the shooting for the film. The muhurtha of the film, which is the remake of Tamil hit Paandiya Nadu, was recently held in Bangalore.

Menon the lead roles. While Chiru will be enacting the role
played by Vishal in the original, Radhika Kumaraswamy will be
stepping into the shoes of Lakshmi Menon in the Kannada
Rudratandava, which is the first combination of Chiru
and Radhika will be directed by Guru Deshpande, who is basking in
the success of Raja Huli. Addressing the media people in
the press meet, Radhika Kumarswamy said, "This is not the first
time that Chiranjeevi and I were approached for a film. We were
supposed to do a film together some time ago, around last year.
But, due to unforeseen circumstances, that particular project
didn't take off. But, I'm glad that I get to pair with him now, in
the first film I've signed outside my home production."

Radhika Kumaraswamy To Play Chiru's Love Interest
Radhika Kumaraswamy, who recently made her comeback with
Sweety Nanna Jodi, will be playing Chiru's love interest
in the film.

the remake of Paandiya Nadu.
Girish Karnad To Play Chiru's Father
Sandalwood's ace director Girish Karnad will be playing Chiru's
father in Rudratandava, which was played by Bharathi Raja
in the original movie.
Producer TA Sarvana
TA Saravana, proprietor of Sai Gold Palace is making his debut
as a producer with the movie.
The shooting of Rudratandava has been started from
April 15 2014. According to the sources close to film unit, the
movie is slated to release in August.
Set In The Backdrop Of Kolar
Rudratandava is set in the backdrop of Kolar and
necessary changes have been made for the script, so that it suits
the mind-set of Kannada audience.
