Rudratandava, which is the remake of Tamil hit Pandiya Nadu is all set to go on floors in March 2014. The original movie had Action Star Vishal Krishna and Lakshmi Menon the lead roles. While Chiru will be enacting the role played by Vishal in the original, Radhika Kumaraswamy will be stepping into the shoes of Lakshmi Menon in the Kannada version.
Confirming the news, director Guru Deshpande said, "Radhika will be doing a teacher's role for the first time in her career similar to that of Susmita Sen in Main Hoon Na. We had asked to her shed at least five kilos to fit into the character. The shoot of the movie will start from March."
Director, who is basking in the success of Raja Huli, said that he has made some changes for the script. "Though it is a remake, some changes will be made in the script to suit the local audiences. There will be two vital characters in the movie essayed by prominent actors of the Sandalwood, whose names will be announced shortly," Guru added.
