Fans Saddened Over Shivaraj Kumar For Defending Geetha's Stand On Politics

Geetha Shivaraj Kumar aka Geethakka's decision on contesting in the upcoming Lok Sabha election has become talk of the town, where few of the adherent fans of Rajkumar and his family have become saddened over her stand. On the other hand Shivaraj Kumar, who is considered as the supreme of Sandalwood after Rajkumar's death, has also defended his wife's political stand. Talking about Geetha contesting in election, Shivaraj Kumar said, "I am not seeing any wrong in my wife's decision for contesting in election. Her decision has not been opposed by our family. Me and my family are ever ready to participate in the canvas." (I am not entering politics).

However, few people have expressed their anger on Shivaraj Kumar for defending his wife's stand on politics. They also alleged that Shivanna would have never thought of politics in his dreams if Dr Rajkumar was alive today.

Late Kannada's cultural icon Dr Rajkumar had not even thought of entering politics. Though his counterparts in the neighbouring states - MG Ramachandran and NT Ramarao became Chief Ministers, Annavru kept a safe distance from all the political parties in the state. He had also said, "I will be Rajkumar for ever as people call me. I will never step into politics in my life."
