Ramya To Romance Puneet Rajkumar In Dodmane Hudga!

Sandalwood Queen Ramya, who had bid goodbye to acting after entering politics is likely to make her comeback. The actress, who was elected as Member of Parliament (MP) from Mandya Lok Sabha Constituency in 2013 by-elections, was defeated in the recent Lok Sabha polls. If sources from Gandhinagara are to be believed, then the makers of Sandalwood's forthcoming movie Dodmane Hudga starring Power Star Puneet Rajkumar have decided to rope in Ramya to play the female lead in the film.

Ramya, who had made her debut with Puneet Rajkumar's Abhi in 2003 was the most sought after actress in Kannada film industry for a decade. Playing female lead in more than 50 films, Ramya is called as the Sandalwood Queen in Kannada film industry. The Golden Girl, who is awaiting the release of Aryan opposite Sandalwood King Shivanna, has also signed Dil Ka Raja and Neer Dose.

Director Duniya Soori's directorial venture Dodmane Hudga is likely to go on floors in July 2014. The flick, which is the third combination of Puneet and Soori will be produced by M Govindu.
