Remake Of 6-5 Equals 2 Releases On November 14

Last year the horror movie 6-5=2 took the Kannada film industry by surprise. With a strong script and a wonderful camera work, the movie raked moolah at the box office and was subsequently declared as super hit. The movie happened to be the first 'Found Footage' movie in the Kannada Film Industry.

The movie has been remade in Hindi by Bharath Jain of Jhankar Music. With this movie cinematographer Satya Hegde and editor Deepu S Kumar are making their Bollywood debut. The director has stayed true to the story line of the movie. The Hindi movie has been shot primarily in the dense forest of Chikamagalur, Sakleshpur and Yellapura.

This will be the debut film for the director. In the Hindi remake, fresh faces have been cast. The cast includes Gourav Kothari, Disha Kapoor, Prashanth Guptha and others. The director said that in November of 2001 he had similar experiences while trekking with his friends. However, this movie will no include those experiences.

The movie is now ready for release and will be in theaters from November 14th. While the Kannada movie made it big in the box office, the Hindi movie will have to cover a lot of grounds with major releases in November.
