Sudeep To Be Antagonist In Vijay's Movie

The news of Sandalwood superstar Sudeep acting with Tamil superstar Vijay in a Tamil news has been trending since couple of days. Sudeep had confirmed that he will start shooting from November 14. Although earlier it was reported that the actor will be playing the role of Vijay's elder brother, the actor has refuted all such stories.

Talking to media, Sudeep revealed that he will be the antagonist of the movie and Vijay will the main lead. He also refuted the claims that his role will have equal importance as that of Vijay. The actor said he will not be play a parallel hero in the movie. Yesteryear's beautiful actress Sridevi will also be playing an important role in the movie. While the actress will be the queen of an army, Sudep will be the commander of Sridevi's army.

The movie is said to be made at a budget of approximately 100 crores. This is the biggest movie to be ever made in the Tamil film industry. Sudeep had earlier refused to be a part of the movie due to unavailability of dates. But the producers kept persisting him to accept the role. Sudeep said that it feels good to be wanted as an actor.

Talking about his role, Sudeep said that while he is the antagonist of the movie, his character isn't exactly evil. He is also very excited to act alongside Sridevi. Sudeep said that it was an honor for him to share the screen with the lady Amitabh Bachchan. The actor is on a golden run currently. His upcoming movie Ranna is about to complete shooting.
