Jilla Girl Kajal Aggarwal To Romance Puneet!

Less than a month after Kollywood queen Trisha Krishnan made her Sandalwood debut with Kannda remake of Telugu movie Dookudu, another South lass is all set to make her first appearance on Kannada screen. The makers of untitled Kannada movie, which is the remake of Telugu film Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde has roped in Kajal Aggarwal to play the female lead in the movie.

Jilla girl Kajal Aggarwal, who has become house hold name in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi film industries, has been paired opposite Power Star Puneet Rajkumar in the movie. The original movie featured Nitin and Nithya Menon in the lead roles.

The Telugu movie, which was made in the budget of Rs 11 crores, had approximately grossed Rs 65 crore at the Box Office collection. The movie, which was directed by Vijay Kumar Konda, had also featured Ali, Isha Talwar, Jwala Gutta, Thagubothu Ramesh, Raghubabu, Aahuthi Prasad and others in the significant roles.

Kajal Aggarwal has reportedly started the shooting for the movie, which is likely to wrap up by June, 2014. However, Puneet Rajkumar, who is presently busy with the shooting of Kannada version of Telugu movie Dookudu is likely to join the team by February.
