It's a positive sign for Sandalwood. As Kannada movies are doing a wonderful business at Box Office Collection these days, there are high expectations riding on Sandalwood's upcoming movie Brahma. The movie, which is all set to hit screens on Friday, February 7 is reportedly replacing Bollywood movie Jai Ho starring Salman Khan in many multiplex theatres.

The movie is getting released in more than 200 single screens across the state. Many multiplex theatres, which are screening Jai Ho in Bangalore are replacing the movie with Kannada movie Brahma. Sources said that there is a huge demand for Brahma in many multiplex theatres. Though there is the release of few Bollywood movies like Hasi Toh Phasi and Heartless, theatre owners are preferring Brahma than compared to any other movies.

It is said that superstar Upendra, who was last seen in Topiwala in early 2013 will be back as Brahma to take a storm on the Box Office collection. The movie is the first combination of Uppi and director R Chandru, who is Box Office Sultan with his earlier movies like Mylaari, Charminaar and others.
