We recently reported about the alleged partial behavior of Karnataka Film Chambers of Commerce towards new filmmakers. Music composer turned director Milind Dharmasena was at the receiving end of KFCC recently. KFCC asked the director to get a NOC from maverick actor/director Upendra for the title 'Uppi's Love Story'.
Milind Dharmasena was considering to take the matter to the court. He argued that the story of the movie has absolutely no connection to the actor. However, sources say that he got help from the Actor himself.
The director met Upendra on the sets of Uppi 2 and explained his predicament. He also narrated the story line of Uppi's Love Story to the actor. Apparently Upendra enjoyed the storyline and found it very amusing and entertaining. Upendra also expressed no objections to the title of the movie.
The maverick actor also promised Milind that he would personally call KFCC President H.D. Gangaraju and inform him that he has no objections with the title of the movie. With this one of the title struggles in the Kannada film industry seems to have come to an amicable end.
