Vishnuvardhan's Khaidi Re-Releasing After 30 Years

Sahasa Simha Vishnuvardhan starrer Khaidi, which was released in 1984, is all set get re-released after 30 years on April 11. The crew has geared up to re-release the movie on Vishnu's fans demand. This time the movie will be getting released in cinema-scope with Cube digital sound effect.

Khaidi, which had its first official release 30 years ago was directed by KSR Das, and produced by GRK Raju under Vishwachitra Productions. Vishnuvardhan had influenced his fans as an angry young man in the movie.

The movie was the remake of Telugu hit Khaidi. It had Chiranjeevi, Madhavi, Sumalatha and Rao Gopal Rao in pivotal roles. Apart from Vishnuvardhan, Khaidi also featured Madhavi, Aarathi, Jayamalini, Sangeetha, Nithya, Anuradha, Dheerendra Gopal, Mukhyamantri Chandru, Sudarshan, BK Shankar and Dingri Nagaraj in the important roles. Later, it was also remade in Hindi featuring Jitendra in the lead role. Actress Madhavi played the lead role in all three version of the movie.

Khaidi was also a musical hit of the year 1984. The track 'Taale hoova podeyinda busss bussss', which was featured on Vishnuvardhan and Madhavi, was the main highlight of the movie.

Chi Udayashankar had penned the lyrics, and the movie had the music scored by Chakravarthi. Meanwhile, Vishnuvardhan's fans are all set to watch the movie once again on the silver screen. The movie will be releasing in Triveni theatre, Gandhinagar, Bangalore and few other parts of the state.
