EXCLUSIVE: Interview With Prem About 'DK'

Read the exclusive interview of Jogi Prem with Filmibeat on his upcoming movie DK, which is releasing in 200 theatres tomorrow, Feb 13th. DK's official tralier and item song 'Sessamma' with Sunny Leone has created waves in the Sandalwood. After, watching Prem as a lover boy in Prem Adda, his audience will now watch him as a full mass entertainer in DK.

Talking to Prem, I realised that this movie is going to be superhit for director Vijay Hampali as he has packed this movie with the most enthralling aspects.

1. Why the movie has been titled DK?
Prem: DK means Dil Kush, the title of the movie is definitely not connected with anybody or any character personally. I play the character of DK in the movie who is man with no tension, sentiment, emotions and stays bindas.

2. There are lot many titles, but why did you people select DK?
Prem: As, I have already told that DK means Dil Kush, it is powerful titled which was apt for out sript. Thus, we chose DK. We have been inspired by the style and image makeover of DK(DK Shivakumar) before for he entered Politics. But, my character will is not be related to his present political life.

3. What is your expectations about DK?
Prem: I am sure this movie will definitely bring me a hit in my career. It is a pakka 'paisa vasool' movie which gives a good message to the youngsters. DK is releasing in 200 theatres tomorrow, with huge expectations.

4. Would you like to share something about your co-actress Chaitra?
Prem: Yes, definitely. Chaitra was the best co-actress in my acting career. She shared an extremely good rapport in the the movie. Her character in the movie will remind actresses' like Manjula, Malashree and Rakshitha. Chaitra plays a powerful fighter character in DK.

5. How was your experience in the item song 'Sessamma' with Sunny Leone?
Prem: Sunny Leone definitely needs appreciation. The actress was very punctual, she used to come on-time and get ready before the shooting commenced. Sunny is really happy since, her song is now the leading anthem of Sandalwood. Her dance will definitely entertain the viewers.

6. Why did Bipasha Basu reject the call from DK?
Prem: If it is my movie, people expect more. I intended to bring Yana Gupta in Jogi, Mallikha Sherawat in Ee Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe and Scarlet Wilson in Prem Adda and Bipasha for DK. Thus, we contacted Bipasha Bashu, but due to unavailability of her dates we chose Sunny Leone, who is in now in demand.
