Krishnamma Kalipindi: Remake Of 'Charminar' Gets Positive Response

Wow! R Chandru is on a high! The director has two reasons to celebrate. Firstly, Chandru has directed Charminar as Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini in Telugu. The movie has been released today, June 19 and has received positive talks in Andhra Pradesh.

Secondly, R Chandru has bagged a golden opportunity to introduce Anoop to Sandalwood. Anoop is the grand son of ex Prime Minister Deve Gowda. Anoop's debut movie was titled and launched recently as Lakshmana by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

The happy director, while speaking to FilmiBeat said that, he is extremely overwhelmed by the response of his movie Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini from Telugu audience. R Chandru said, "I am really happy. Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini has released in 800 theatres in Andhra Pradesh and in 70 theatres in Karnataka. I have received positive appreciations for the movie".

Seems like R Chandru will soon see a huge success from Charminar's Telugu version. Lovely Star Prem and Meghana Gaonkar played the lead roles in Charminar which was a blockbuster hit movie of 2013.
