the
biggest
grosser
in
its
opening
weekend
in
Kannada
film
industry,going
by
the
impressive
numbers
on
the
first
day.
According
to
the
inputs
of
IANS,
Masterpiece
has
approximately
grossed
Rs.
6.2
crore
on
its
release
day
setting
a
new
record.
The
most
awaited
movie
has
been
received
a
huge
opening
in
300
and
odd
theaters
all
over
Karnataka.
The
movie
made
a
whopping
profit
of
25
Crores
from
its
distribution
rights,
even
before
its
release.
7000
tickets
of
Yash
starrer
was
sold
out
on
BookMyShow
before
two
days
of
the
movie
release.
Many
theatres
in
like
Balaji
(Tavarekere),
Manasa
(Konunkunte)
and
many
more
in
Silicon
city
showed
6AM
early
morning
shows
of
Masterpiece.
Interestingly,
Orion
Mall
showed
19
shows
of
the
movie
continuously.
The
movie
is
expected
to
collect
more
in
the
coming
weekend
without
any
competition
of
other
movies.
"At
this
rate,
it
is
mostly
to
end
up
as
the
biggest
grosser
in
its
opening
weekend
in
the
state
this
year," trade
analyst
Trinath
told
IANS.
Directed
by
scriptwriter
of
Manju
Mandavya,
the
film
also
stars
Shanvi
Srivastava,
P.
Ravi
Shankar
and
Suhasini
Mani
Ratnam,
Achyuth
Kumar,
Chikkanna
in
important
roles.
Despite
of
the
movie
received
mixed
reviews
by
critics
and
audiences,
the
film
has
managed
collect
well
at
the
theatres
and
the
film-makers
thank
to
the
popularity
of
lead
actor
Yash,
who
enjoys
a
large
fan
base.
The
film
may
rake
in
over
Rs.
15
crore
in
its
first
weekend
and
those
are
very
good
numbers,
ays
further
reports.
The

movie

Yash
and
his
vibrant
looks
in
a
negative
shade.

chemistry
