After the storm Kotigobba 2 has hit the theatres, it is now time for the smaller movies to release. There are three Kannada releases this week. Let's take a look at Crazy Boy, Asthitva and Madammaki.
Crazy Boy is directed by Mahesh Babu of Akash and Arasu fame. He is introducing new faces Dilip Prakash and Ashika Ranganath through this film. Mahesh Babu has gathered a fantastic technical team here which should help him deliver a good film at end of the day as expected by debutant producer Chandru.
Shekar Chandru is the director of photography. Ajay Kumar has provided the story and screenplay for the film for which Dilwala Anil Kumar has penned the dialogues. KM Prakash is the editor. Jayanna Films is releasing the film in 100 odd theaters throughout the state.
Asthitva is another film hitting the screens this week. It is directed by Nuthan Umesh who impressed us with his debut Krishnan Marriage Story. Produced by BS Vishwa Cariappa under San City Productions. Through this movie, Yuvaraj is being introduced to the Kannada Film Industry.
Apart from Yuvaraj, Duniya Rashmi, Prajwal Poovaiah and Shine Shetty are playing important roles. Vijay Anthony has composed the music and a couple of songs are quite popular already. The movie is being released by Mysore Talkies in 80 odd theaters around the state.
Madamakki is also releasing this week. It has Tanuj and Nikitha Narayan playing the lead roles. The movie is directed by Vinay Preetham who has scripted the film as well. Shivanna Dasanapura has bankrolled the project under his banner Sri Rama Talkies.
Sai Kumar who is playing an important role is very confident of this project and is comparing the movie with Rangitaranga. The movie created buzz because of its reverse trailer which was said to be the first attempt in India. The movie is being released by Mysore Talkies in 50 odd theaters throughout Karnataka.
