5 Big Movies Launch In The Auspicious Shravana Masa

Producers invest Crores of rupees in their films, and when someone is dealing with such big numbers, they tend to follow more traditions and beliefs. Like starting their movie on an auspicious date or getting the Pooja done for the first script copy in temples.

Gandhinagar folks follow a few traditions even today and they always consider an appropriate time and date for starting the movie, releasing the movie, screening the first show based on their beliefs! If belief is working in one's favor, then there's nothing wrong in following that, isn't it?

There are a few producers in other industries as well, who consider their asthana pandit's opinion to release the teaser or trailer of their movies as well. But, why are we talking all these now?

We have a reason, we are at the start of the Shravana Masa, which is said to be auspicious for marriages and several such events. For the film producers, this is considered to be the best season to launch their movies or at least to have a muhurtha.

As per the early reports, we have as many as 12 movies announced already, which is to be launched in this season. Also, the music of a few big movies is expected to be launched. We are sure many more movies will join the bandwagon soon or later, let's wait for the official announcement.

Let's have a look at the movies which are awaiting launch or their audio releases, in this season.

The Villain

This is certainly the biggest movie with Shivanna and Sudeep coming together to play the lead roles. Director Prem is calling the shots. This is the biggest multi-starrer, Kannada Film Industry have witnessed in the recent years. The movie will be launched on August 12.

Tagaru

Two big names of the industry, Shivanna and Suri are coming together for second time for Tagaru. The casting of Dhananjaya as the antagonist has already created enough buzz for the film. Team will have formal launch on August 19.

Dodmane Hudga

The film was supposed to release on August 12 but was postponed due to post production delay now the music will be launched on the same date. The movie is already in news for its ensemble star cast.

Chowka

Music of the movie will be launched in the third week of August. The movie is in news because this is the 50th movie from prestigious banner Dwarkish Chitra. Also, movie is bringing young stars Vijay Raghavendra, Prem, Prajwal and Diganth together, for the first time.

Leader

Yet another Shivanna movie to be launched on August 12. The film got superb mileage even before the launch because of the star cast which includes Vijay Raghavendra, Yogi, Guru Jaggesh, and Pranitha along with the Century Star.
