Just
when
we
thought
that
demonetisation
had
only
affected
the
releases
of
other
film
industries,
this
week
release
John
Jani
Janardhan
has
been
postponed
to
a
further
date
because
of
the
same
reason.
This
Kannada
film
has
been
postponed
as
the
producers
think
that
the
audiences
may
not
show
interest
on
films
in
this
situation.
Whereas
the
other
language
films
were
postponed
as
producers
could
not
settle
the
dues.
A
theater
owner
revealed
that
the
collections
have
been
very
low
and
it
is
going
to
be
even
worse
over
the
weekend.
He
goes
on
to
say
that
postponing
the
film
was
a
good
decision
as
the
audiences
are
in
mood
to
spend
on
films.
This
will
be
the
second
consecutive
week
without
any
notable
release.
Last
week's
release,
Kahi
was
released
in
just
a
couple
of
single
screens
and
multiplexes.
So
we
can
easily
consider
it
as
a
dry
week
for
the
exhibitors.
The
new
release
date
for
John
Jani
Janardhan
has
not
been
confirmed
yet.
Looking
at
the
lineup
of
releases
this
month,
film
may
release
only
in
December.
This
means
that
the
makers
have
to
rework
on
their
promotional
strategies
and
invest
on
the
film
again.
Also
the
trade
pundits
expect
a
shuffle
in
release
dates
in
the
coming
weeks
if
the
situation
does
not
improve.
However,
the
makers
of
Nataraja
Service
and
Badmaash
have
reconfirmed
that
they
will
hit
the
screens
next
week.
With
no
releases
in
Kannada
and
no
big
releases
in
other
languages,
films
like
Rama
Rama
Re
and
Kahi
might
get
a
good
number
of
shows
in
multiplexes.
The
films
are
also
releasing
in
a
couple
of
single
screens
this
Friday.
