Actress Anisha Ambrose, who made her Sandalwood debut through Second Hand Lover, will be seen in the upcoming thriller Karvva.
Speaking to Times of India on how she bagged the role, Anisha has said, "Director Navaneeth had assisted on 'Second Hand Lover', and called me when he started working on 'Karvva'. He thought that I would be perfect for a particular character in the film. I was happy for Navaneeth, as he was making the transition from assistant director to director."
The film's genre has helped Anisha in choosing her second Kannada film.
"I was also excited that he was offering me a role in a thriller, which I had not done before. Initially, though, it seemed that another acting commitment would not allow me to take it up, but it all worked out and I became a part of the film," she has said.
But the pretty actress has not revealed much about her character in the movie. Talking about it, she has said, "It's an interesting role, as she is very unpredictable and has various shades to her personality."
Shooting in Bengaluru was one of the high points, according to Anisha.
"Apart from working with a talented cast and crew, I got to shoot in Bengaluru. It is my favourite city. My brother lives here and I got to spend a lot of time with my nephew. That was bliss," she has said.
