Darshan will have a couple of scenes with the major star cast and an action sequence, in Chowka. He shot for the film on Monday at Minerva Mill and will finish his portions in 4 - 6 days.
He was supposed to shoot on Tuesday as well, but the shoot was cancelled to observe a day of mourning for actors Uday and Anil. The shoot is expected to resume soon and team is hoping to wrap up the shoot as early as possible.
Darshan agreed to be part of this film because of his rapport with director Tarun Sudhir. Darshan and Tarun shared the screen space in Darshan's home production Navagraha and the friendship has been the same since then.
This will be 50th film made under the prestigious banner Dwarkish Chitra. Producer Yogish Dwarkish and director Tarun is leaving no stones unturned for the film. The film has already created good buzz for various reasons.
The film boasts of a fantastic star cast - Vijay Raghavendra, Prem, Prajwal Devraj, Diganth, Priyamani, Aindritha Ray, Bhavana and Deepa Sannidhi. Adding Darshan to this star cast, will be nothing but the icing on the cake.
The film also has five music directors, cinematographers, dialogue writers, lyric writers and art directors each. With this, 25 top technicians will be working for the film and this will probably be the first such instance.
With Darshan's portions, the shoot will be completed. Post-production work is already under way. The team is planning for a grand audio launch this month and Mysore Talkies is aiming for a theatrical release in December.
