It’s Mukunda Murari Vs Santhu Straight Forward For Deepavali

This Deepavali, Kannada box office will see a fierce battle between Real Star Upendra - Kichcha Sudeep & Rocking Star Yash as their movies Mukunda Murari and Santhu Straight Forward are hitting the screens on October 28.

There were speculations from the last week or two, that both the movies will release for Deepavali but there was no confirmation about the same from either of the teams. Fans thought one will postpone the release to avert the clash.

But Mukunda Murari team has come out with an ad with the release date of October 28, and initial theater list. Also, they have sent out press releases confirming the date whereas Santhu Straight Forward team has 'Deepavali release' mentioned on their ads.

With a couple of holidays in the form of Deepavali and Kannada Rajyotsava falling in the same week, films releasing on October 28, intend to make use of this 4 days long weekend.

The same happened in first week of October where there were couple of holidays in form of Dasara and Moharam, Jaguar and Dana Kayonu along with previous week's release Doddmane Hudga did fantastic business at the box office in the weekend.

Teams of Mukunda Murari and Santhu Straight Forward are trying to repeat the same magic at the box office. Both the movies can do well if released in week, which has a number of holidays.

However, a section of trade and fans are still optimistic of one movie being postponed to further date as two big releases will divide the collections which will not benefit either of them.
