Kichcha
Sudeep's
Kotigobba
2
has
been
censored
with
a
'U'
Certificate.
The
movie
was
censored
yesterday(Aug
3),
and
certified
without
any
cuts.
The
Tamil
version
was
also
certified
along
with
Kannada
version,
and
it
was
certified
with
U
as
well.
The
film
will
now
release
worldwide
on
August
12th
in
record
number
of
screens.
Producers
are
confident
of
movie
releasing
in
1000
screens
(Kannada
and
Tamil
together).
Kannada
distributor
Jack
Manju
of
Mysore
Talkies,
has
already
started
booking
theaters.
He
plans
to
release
the
movie
in
more
than
300
theaters,
as
there
is
no
big
Kannada
release
in
the
second
week
of
August,
and
this
movie
is
having
huge
expectations.
Tamil
distributor
Ashok
Samraj
is
planning
to
release
the
movie
in
more
than
400
theaters.
We
hear
that
already
many
theaters
have
been
blocked
for
Mudinja
Ivana
Pudi.
Tamil
version
is
expected
to
release
in
Kerala
as
well,
and
theater
count
may
touch
100.
Makers
are
planning
to
release
the
Kannada
version
nationwide
in
multiplexes
and
select
single
screens.
Tamil
version
is
said
to
be
releasing
in
the
overseas
simultaneously.
There
is
no
news
about
Kannada
version's
release
in
the
overseas.
On
the
music
front,
Kotigobba
2
jukebox,
has
crossed
1
Lakh
views
on
Anand
Audio's
YouTube
channel
and
this
is
said
to
be
a
record
as
well.
Music
director
D
Imman
tweeted
about
this
ecstatically
-
"#Kotigobba2
Audio
Jukebox
hits
100,000+
views."
As
stated
earlier,
Kotigobba
2,
does
not
have
any
big
Kannada
movie
releasing
along
with
it,
but
has
to
face
competition
from
other
language
biggies
in
Bangalore
and
other
major
cities
of
Karnataka.
However,
Mudinja
Ivana
Pudi
has
to
face
stir
from
a
couple
of
notable
films
releasing
on
the
same
day.
