film

be
seen
producing
under
her
banner
Kalathmika.
Madan
Ramvenkatesh
who
had
worked
with
Sruthi
earlier
in
the
critically
acclaimed
short
film
'ABC'
will
be
directing
this
short
film.
The
story
revolves
around
the
culture
and
language
of
Karnataka.
This
short
movie
is
an
attempt
by
the
team
to
bring
this
aspect
into
limelight.
Sruthi,
who
is
producing
the
movie,
is
not
going
to
be
acting
in
it,
as
she
has
chosen
to
be
behind
the
camera,
this
time
around.
The
cast
of
the
movie
includes
Vasishta
N.
Simha
of
the
Godhi
Banna
Sadharana
Mykattu
fame,
Ravikiran
Rajendran
and
senior
actor
Jayaprakash.
Abhishek
G.
Kasargod,
who
was
an
associate
of
Sathya
Hegde
and
worked
in
films
like
Raate,
will
be
cranking
the
camera
for
this
film.
Akshay
P.
Rao
who
has
edited
a
number
of
films
will
be
the
editor
and
Aparajith
Sris
will
be
taking
care
of
the
background
score.
The
team
is
planning
to
release
the
teaser
very
soon
before
taking
the
film
to
several
film
festivals
around
the
world.
Shooting
has
been
completed
and
the
post-production
work
is
underway.
Once
Sruthi
is
done
with
the
work
for
'The
Last
Kannadiga',
she
intends
to
enter
stage
production,
which
is
titled
in
the
name
of
Faces.
This
will
be
directed
by
Ramkumar.
She
also
plans
to
make
meaningful
feature
films
once
she
is
in
a
financially
viable
position.
As
an
actress,
she
will
be
seen
working
in
an
Upendra
starrer
Matthe
Hutti
Baa
Uppi
and
Uruvi,
in
which
the
latter
one
is
in
the
final
stages
and
is
said
to
hit
the
screens
in
a
month
or
two.
