Yogi's Duniya 2 Goes On Floors

Duniya 2, sequel of the trendsetter movie Duniya, was launched recently in a temple near Konankunte in presence of dignitaries from politics and cinema. Ex Minister Belur Gopalkrishna clapped for the first shot.

Yogi, who shot to fame with Duniya, through Loose Mada character, is playing the lead role in Duniya 2. Hitha Chandrashekar, daughter of Sihikahi Chandru and Geetha, is the lead actress.

Tagline for the sequel is 'Masanada Haadige Myligallu Yellide'. Ex Ministers Belur Gopalkrishna, Renukacharya, director Suri and Santhu graced the occasion. The shoot has started and team is looking forward to release the movie in the latter half of 2016.

Yogi's father TP Siddaraju of Samy Associates produced Duniya and now he is producing the sequel as well, along with Smt. Keerthi Venkatesh of Balaji Creations. K Narayana Murthy, G Chandrashekar Patil are the co-producers.

Hari, is making his directorial debut with this project. He has written the story, screenplay and dialogues. He has confirmed that this is a fresh story and there is no relation with any characters of Duniya.

Suni had announced a few years ago that he was introducing Hari with the movie titled Bazaar starring Anish Tejeshwar, but the movie was shelved before it was launched. It's unsure whether this project has been taken up with a new title.

BJ Bharath will be composing the music. Manjunath P Nayak of Alemaari and Auto Raja fame will be cranking the camera. Akshay P Rao will be the editor. N Ramesh and K Krishna will be working as executive producers.
