Happy New Year To Fight It Out With Three Other Films At Box Office

This will be the first week after the government has implemented the cap on ticket prices in multiplexes and the compulsion of Kannada movies screening during prime time at multiplexes. We have four Kannada films hitting the screens today.

Happy New Year is the first film releasing today. This one is truly a multistarrer with five well-known heroes and three popular heroines playing the lead roles. The film has been directed by debutant Pannaga Bharana.

The film has Sai Kumar, BC Patil, Vijay Raghavendra, Diganth and Dhananjaya playing the male leads, Sudharani, Sonu Gowda, Sruthi Hariharan, debutant Srishti Patil, Rajashri Ponnappa and Margarita playing the female lead roles.

As lead cast suggests, film has five stories running parallelly. Pannaga has taken up challenging script for his debut film. He is confident of the output and is sure of garnering positive response from audience.

Teasers and trailers along with songs released so far have been received well. Star cast along with director Pannaga, Music Director Raghu Dixit are promoting the film aggressively in all the mediums. The film is released by Jayanna Films in over 100 screens.

Marali Manege is the second film releasing today. Writer Yogesh Master is making his directorial debut with this film which is based on a novel. It looks like an emotional tale of a mother and son.

Shruthi, Shankar Aryan, Suchendra Prasad, Sahana and Arundathi Jatkar have played the important roles in this family drama. Likith Films has released the film in over 25 theatres throughout the state.

Chalagara is the third film releasing today. The film is tale of a kid with disability, directed by AR Ravindra. It is releasing in a few screens throughout the state.

Hakida Hejje is the fourth film, it is a tribute to Sahasasimha Vishnuvardhan by his fans. The film is the fictional story of hero, who is the adopted son of SahasaSimha. It is releasing in limited screens throughout the state.
