Puneet
Raj
Kumar
starrer
Milana
directed
by
Prakash
is
all
set
to
be
released
on
September
14th.
For
Puneet,
who
has
a
huge
action
image
which
attracts
a
large
number
of
young
audiences,
this
mature
love
story
will
be
a
different
type
of
film.
Parvathi
from
Kerala,
who
has
worked
in
three
big
Malayalam
films
(Notebook,
Out
of
Syllabus
and
Vinodyathra),
is
the
heroine.
Pooja
Gandhi,
the
leading
lady
of
the
block
buster
Mungaru
Male,
appears
in
a
very
important
role.
Though
Puneet
and
director
Prakash
are
wary
of
giving
more
information
about
the
film,
we
learn
that
Milana
has
a
soft
look
with
melodious
music
by
Mano
Murthy
hitting
the
top
of
the
music
album
sales.
Three
songs
of
the
film
have
been
shot
in
Switzerland
on
Puneet
-
two
songs
with
Parvathi
and
one
with
Pooja
Gandhi.
Milana
is
the
first
film
that
Puneet
Rajkumar
launched
after
Dr.
Rajkumar's
death
on
April
12th,
2006.
Major
portions
of
the
film
have
been
shot
in
outdoor
spots
of
Bangalore
and
a
village
mansion
near
Hebbal.
This
is
the
first
time
that
Puneet
and
talented
director
Prakash
have
come
together.
Prakash
has
earlier
directed
films
like
Kushi,
Rishi
and
Sree.
Prakash
has
also
worked
with
Shivaraj
Kumar,
elder
brother
of
Puneet
Rajkumar
in
Rishi.
Vijaya
Raghavendra
has
acted
in
all
three
films
directed
by
Prakash.
Mano
Murthy,
who
has
the
successes
of
Mungaru
Male
and
Cheluvina
Chiththaara
behind
him,
is
the
music
director.
Prakash
says
that
he
chose
Mano
Murthy
as
music
director
because
he
wanted
all
the
songs
to
be
melodious.
'My
story
needed
a
different
type
of
music.
I
know
Puneet's
fans
like
trendy
and
peppy
music.
But
the
melodious
music
has
merged
very
well
with
the
story
and
I
am
sure
Puneet's
fans
will
definitely
like
the
film,'
says
Prakash.
Dushyanth
of
Jai
Matha
films,
who
had
earlier
produced
films
like
Monalisa
and
Sree,
is
the
producer.
