'Arjuna' Movie Review: A Passable Flick!

Prajwal Devaraj starrer Arjuna is trending all over the social networking sites Twitter and Facebook. The action thriller movie by directed PC Shekar has gathered good responses from the audiences, even before the release.
Today(Sep 24) Arjuna has hit the theatres. Did Prajwal Devaraj really make a comeback with Arjuna? Read the review below...
Arjuna Story:
The movie opens up with Devaraj (Mr Verma) as a dynamic Police Officer. The movie takes a turn with a mysterious murder story of a DC(District Collector). Prajwal Devaraj (Arjuna) is introduced after 15-20 minutes of the movie, as a very innocent guy.
The rest of the story hovers around politics, murder and its mystery. How is Prajwal Devaraj connected to the murder case forms rest of the story.
Arjuna Performance:
Devaraj steals the show as a Police Officer. Prajwal is seen in a way different role which becomes the highlight of Arjuna. He has balanced his acting, as an innocent in the first half and an action hero in the second half of the movie. Though Bhama shares less screen space, she has given her best performance.
Other supporting actors Ramesh Bhat, Kaddipudi Chandru, Sheetal Shetty, Girish Shivanna and others have done their best job in Arjuna.
Technical Aspects:
While concentrating on giving an action thriller movie, director PC Shekar seem to have forgotten about comedy sequences. Though Arjuna includes few double meaning comedy dialogues by Kaddipudi Chandru, it fails to bring smile on a viewer's face.
First half goes quick, but second moves in a slow-pace. Action sequences by Dynamic Star Devaraj could have been much better.
Music:
Major heart winning element of Arjuna is its BGM and music. Music director Arjun Janya has given best music which is an essential ingredient for a thriller movie. Song 'Sakiye Sakiye' shows good chemistry between Prajwal Devaraj and Bhama.
Verdict:
Arjuna is a passable action thriller by PC Shekar. Kannada audiences can undoubtedly enjoy the movie one time.

Prajwal Devaraj's Comeback!
Though the chocolate hero Prajwal Devaraj has earlier acted in action movies, Arjuna depicts him in a unique way. His new makeover for the movie will be liked by the viewers.
A Good And Decent Lead Pair
For the first time Bhama and Prajwal Devaraj has paired up as lead pairs in Arjuna. Though they share little onscreen space in the movie, their sizzling chemistry is pleasing.
Dynamic Star Devaraj
Through Arjuna, once again Devaraj proves himself as Dynamic Star of Sandalwood. He plays a dynamic Police Officer in the action thriller flick.
Less Onscreen, Yet Remains In Thoughts!
Malayam based actress Bhama makes her entry after the first half of the movie. She hardly shares 30-45 minutes onscreen space in Arjuna. But, she has given her best performance.
A Good Action Thriller By PC Shekar
After Golden Star Ganesh's rom-com entertainer Romeo, PC Shekar is back to KFI with Arjuna. Though the movie lacks perfection, PC Shekar has won the hearts of Kannada audiences by giving a action thriller.
Father-Son Duo
Thanks for PC Shekar for bringing real life father-son in two different shades in Arjuna. The duo of Prajwal and father Devaraj is awesome.
Overall: One Time Watch
Arjuna is a passable flick by PC Shekar. For this weekend, Kannada audience can undoutedly watch and enjoy Arjuna.
