Boxer Story:

Raja (Dhananjay) is an orphan and an introvert. He lives in his own world, of betting and boxing. Lakshmi, a blind girl, enters Boxer's life and brings new hope. He eventually starts liking her for innocence and affection.

The action movie helms to portray more love and less action in the first-half. In the second part, Dhananjay will be liked by the audiences as 'Boxer' Raja . Dhananjay risks his life for bring back the eye-sight of his beloved Lakshmi. Will Lakshmi get back her eye-sight? Will Raja and Lakshmi meet once again? To know this watch the movie.

Boxer Performances:

Dhananjay steals the show in the lead role. He has perfectly balanced every aspect; whether it be action, dialogue delivery, dancing skills or acting. Debutant Kruthika Jayakumar is decent and she has given her best performance by playing a blind girl in Boxer.

Supporting characters Rangayana Raghu makes you laugh rarely. Newbie Charandeep has done an appreciable job by playing negative shade in Boxer. Veteran actress Sumitra has given complete justice to her mother role.

Boxer Technical Aspects:

Boxer is a good script by Preetham Gubbi, but he has not been effective in executing. The movie lacks an engaging screenplay and comedy aspect. Best cinematography of the movie makes Boxer a visual treat.

Boxer Music:

Boxer includes best songs composed by V Harikrishna. Director-choreographer Harsha has choreographed for all the 4 songs of the movie and songs 'Thunta Thatakiye' and 'Dheem Dheem' are two best songs of Boxer.

Overall:

Boxer can be easily liked if you are a fan of 'Special Star' Dhananjay. He will not betray your expectations. Otherwise, Boxer is an action movie, high on emotions and, a one-time watch.

Dhananjay

The main highlight of the movie is the acting of Special Star Dhananjay. He steals the show throughout. After winning the hearts of Kannada audiences through his raw characters in his earlier movies, Dhananjay will be liked as a 'Boxer' in the movie.

Lead Pair

Apart from Dhananjay, Boxer includes best on-screen chemistry between the lead pair Dhananjay and Kruthika Jayakumar. The first-time pairing up of the actors add more glimpse to the movie.

Action Sequences

Boxer helms to portray more about love and affection between the lead pair in the first-half. But, in the second-part the filmmakers has introduced good action sequences between Dhananjay and antagonist Charandeep.

Song Thunta Thatakiye

In pics, sizzling Dhananjay and Kruthika Jayakumar from the song 'Thunta Thatakiye'. All credits goes to director cum choreographer Harsha for making the songs a special treat.

Good Script

Boxer is a feel good movie, which has slightly failed in executing it. Preetham Gubbi could have given more importance to comedy aspects which is a major drawback of the movie.

Song 'E Gulalu'

Along with good acting, both the actors Dhananjay and Kruthika have given best dancing performances . In the picture, the lead pair dancing for the song 'E Gulalu'.
