Male Story:

Male is a simple story between two youngsters Varun(Prem) and Varsha(Amulya), the movie name literally mean rain in Kannada. The love journey begins with the introduction song of the hero 'Life Is Awesome'. Then heroine Amulya makes her entry.

It is love at first sight for the hero, but not to the heroine! Amulya plays a tomboy role while Lovely Star Prem looks dashing as a lover boy. Amulya starts loving him after analysing hero in many circumstances. The twist in the tale is when Prem's father Ananth Nag dies and the reality unfolds, that Prem is a millionaire!.

Worried about the financial status Amulya rejects Prem's love. Ending is very dramatic and director has made use of the rain appropriately.

Cast Performances:

The main attraction of the movie is the onscreen chemistry of Prem and Amulya. The lead pair reminds us of Dr Rajkumar and Manjula in Sampatige Saval.

Other supporting characters Sadhu Kokila, Bullet Prakash, Kaddipudi Chandru, Jai Jagadish, Nagendra Sha, Padmaja Rao and others have done good job.

Technical Aspects:

In order to bring in a family cum romantic entertainer, director AR Shiva Tejas has forgotten to make use of the characters. He has given more importance to the lead pair, where other characters just come and go. First half is a typical romantic-comedy phase and second half makes viewers sleepy. Cinematography is at its best. Double meaning dialogues puts smile on the face of viewers.

Music:

Male is one of the best musical albums of 2015. Good composition of Jassie Gift to describe the romantic journey of love.

Overall:

Simple story, yet a dramatic ending. Watch this love journey of rain for Lovely Star Prem and Bubbly Amulya's romantic jugalbandhi!.
