Rakshit Shetty and Haripriya starring Ricky has been released today, Jan 22. The movie is the directorial debut of actor and associate director Rishab Shetty.

The movie has garnered positive FDFS reports from cinelovers and critics in Gandhinagara. According to the reports, Ricky has been released in more than150 theatres all over Karnataka.

After starring in Yogaraj Bhat's Vaasthu Prakara, Rakshit Shetty is eyeing for a big break through Ricky this year, 2016. Actors Rakshit Shetty and Haripriya have first time paired for the movie. Did Rishab's movie get a 'thumbs up' in Gandhinagara? Read below...

Ricky Story:

Ricky is an unusual never ending and immortal love story between Radha (Haripriya) & Radha Krishna (Rakshit Shetty). The actual story opens up, when audiences expect to see the love and romance bewteen lead pair.

The hero departures to Kashmir on his work from his family and his love Radha. The things go wrong when Radha's house is acquired forcefully by SEZ.

Why will Radha transform as comrade Seetha, a naxalite? What happens between Radha and Ricky after they get engaged? How will Ricky loose his lady love forms the rest of the story.

Ricky Performances:

Rakshit Shetty plays a wild life conservative officer in the movie. The simple star delivers good performance and he has given complete justice to his role. The audiences will like his innocent performance as Ricky who portrays immense love to his lady Radha. The actor also delivers action sequences in the directorial debut of Rishab Shetty.

Harirpiya needs to be appauled. The gorgeous actress has delivered two different characters Radha and Seetha in the movie. In the first half she appreas as an innocent loveable girl, while she appreas as a naxalite in the second-half. It is Haripriya's best performance ever who has balanced between the two shades Radha and Seetha.

Apart from lead characters Pramod Shetty plays a pivotal role in Ricky. The actor shines throughtout the movie delivering powerful dialogues. He plays the chief of Naxalites.

Supporting characters Achyuth Kumar, Veena Sundar, Dinesh Mangalore, Sadhu Kokila and Raghu Pandeshwar have lived their roles.

Comedy by Sadhu Kokila and Raghu Pandeshwar are enjoyable.

Ricky Technical Aspects:

Ricky is based on the real life incidents which took place in Karkala, Karanataka. Rishab himself has penned down the story. It portrays engaging screenplay in the first-half.

While concentrating more about communalism and SEZ, the film-maker has slightly missed the screenplay in few scenes of the second-half.

Poweful dialogues, good cinematography and best acting by the actors are the plus points of the movie.

Ricky Music:

Ricky is a already a musical hit. Arjun Janya's BGM adds more value to Ricky. The music ablum consists 5 songs. 'O BabyOne For You', 'Malage Malage' and 'Jeeva Neenu' are best songs of the movie.

Ricky Verdict:

Ricky is an unusual love story which portrays fiction. Ricky is a perfect debut of Rishab Shetty who has portrayed how true love becomes destiny.
