Aattakadha

Attakkatha movie tells a love story. UnniKrishnan Namboothiri was the only son of Raman Namboothiri and Sree Devi Antharjanam. Raman Namboothiri was a priest in a temple and the meagre income was not sufficient for their day today needs. Unni joined Kalamandalam to learn Kathakali. He acquired the skills of Kathakali faslty. Sethu Lakshmi was also a student of Kalamandalam. She loved Unni, but never expressed her love. Meanwhile, a foreign student, Romi Meshyl from France joined to learn the same art form. Unni being a brillant student he was engaged to teach her Malayalam and Kathakali padhangal. Their relationship developed to love. After her studies she returned to France. Years later Romi's daughter Melina reached Unni's house in search of her father.
