Akkare Ninnoru Maran movie is about Achuthan (Manian Pillai Raju) who is in love with a girl Nandini (Menaka). But his uncle K. P. Thankappan Nair (Nedumudi Venu) will only allow a person from foreign to marry her. So Achuthan pretends to leave town and go to Dubai and become rich, while really staying at a lodge in a nearby town to trick his uncle.
